How Your Child Can Benefit From Taking Dance?

Dance is a wonderful activity that will serve your child well throughout his or her life.  There are many reasons for your child to take dance.  Let's look at some of them.

Physical Fitness

Dance is a physical activity that involves the entire body. Because it is so active, your child will benefit from improved coordination, greater muscle tone, and greater strength. Unlike your child's sedentary counterparts, your child is less likely to develop obesity and the problems that go with it. If your child is overweight, he or she will benefit from having exercise and the possible weight loss associated with doing an aerobic activity.

Socialization

Dance is primarily a group activity. While there is solo work, much of dance requires team work. Children learn to work together as a team. A child is more likely to make new friends in dance.
